We’ve assembled a talented team of Eco-Stewards for our upcoming program on the Crow Reservation in Montana, where we will consider how to achieve sustainability and reconciliation through agriculture, health and green building.
Our 12 Eco-Stewards hail from nine states: Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Montana. Add our leaders from Kentucky, West Virginia, California, Massachusetts and Montana, and that makes for a pretty representative group- coast to coast!
In addition to regional diversity, our Eco-Stewards will bring a wide range of perspectives from their professional and educational backgrounds. The group includes religious and environmental educators in addition to graduate and undergraduate students studying everything from sustainable agriculture to public health to philosophy. And their Christian backgrounds are equally diverse: Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Baptist, Roman Catholic and Pentecostal.
We can’t wait to see what we can learn from each other and the people we meet in Montana.
